How do I import older bank / cc transactions after I set up Quicken?

I am new to quicken and when I set it up, I only received 4 months worth of banking data - I would like to get all of 2019's data so I have a better annual 'picture'.

Each bank decides how far back it provides download data, but most not more than 90 days. However, you may be able to download data in the form of a file from your bank's website that goes back further.
If you can download a QFX file going further back, you should be able to import this into Quicken. You can import it into a new Quicken account, then drag and drop the transactions into the account you already have set up for download. Then delete the (now empty) new account.
If all the bank provides is a CSV (Excel) file format, Quicken does not import that. There are third party tools out there that you can buy to convert CSV to QFX. The results may vary. They are not authorized or supported by Quicken.Quicken Mac Subscription; Quicken Mac user since the early 90s5 -
@Gster67 Depending how many credit transactions you have per month, if you've downloaded April-July and you can't get older transactions to download, you could also manually enter your transactions from Jan-March in order to complete the year. Manual entry isn't terrible, especially once you get in the rhythm of it.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935
