I need some help. I opened my quicken file today after entering some transctions yesterday.

When I looked at the file, I am seeing the list of investments and their values. When I look at the brokerage account, I am only seeing the opening deposit. I can not see any of the transactions for buying , selling, investment inc. etc. for any of the investments.
Cam anyone assist e please to find out why the transactions are not showing?
Andrew

Perhaps you entered the transactions in a different account than the one you are viewing.
If you go to Investing > Portfolio, pick a view that shows your holdings, customize it if necessary to show all accounts, and group by accounts, you can see where all of your securities are held.

The first part of the question got cut off. It should state that I opened my Quicken file today, after entering transactions yesterday.

If you haven't already, I suggest you restore a recent data file backup: select
File > backup and Restore > Restore from Backup File...
