Windows 10 PC (Dell) - Quicken just stopped launching when selected; have tried running as administrator, multiple machine restarts and shutdowns and still will only flash the quicken icon after being selected then nothing; was going to run the install disk, but both options on the disk don't have the familiar "repair version", just uninstall and reinstall, or install new .

If you press the Ctrl key while you open Quicken, does the application window open or does the application icon appear in the task bar?
If the application icon appears in the task bar, hover the mouse over the icon until the preview window appears, right-click in the preview icon and select Restore or Maximize
If the application window opens, try opening the data file: select File > Open Quicken File... If the application exits, I suggest you restore a recent data file backup: https://www.quicken.com/support/advanced-data-file-troubleshooting-correct-problems-quicken-windows
If the application windows does not open and the application icon does not appear in the task bar, I suggest you perform a clean uninstall, install while disconnected from the internet, and update. If you haven’t already, you may want to review: https://www.quicken.com/support/using-qcleanui-uninstall-quicken. To update Quicken, I recommend you download and apply the appropriate Mondo Patch: https://www.quicken.com/support/patching-updates-windows or http://www.quicknperlwiz.com/quickenpatches.html
