Linking loan to asset not showing up in asset account
tbrekken
I'm not sure why this is so hard, but when I set up a loan and linked it to the appropriate asset, its not showing up in the asset account. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

It's not clear here what you expect to see.
Linking a loan to an asset doesn't make an accounting entry into the asset Account, i.e., you don't see any "dollar" effect. It simply makes a note within the asset "Account Details" that the asset has a loan against it.
