Inconsistent net worth reporting

The net worth reported by the left nav pane of accounts does not equal the net worth I have on my Home tab. I don't understand why the discrepancy. When I go through the steps of "Customize this graph" for the graph on the Home tab, I can change nothing but yet see a graph change when I click on OK. The delta between the account nav pane and the graph is in the 5-8% range.

Does anyone have any insight into why there is a discrepancy?

If you haven't already, I suggest you customize the net worth Home tab view with the Date range: set to date, and include all accounts including hidden accounts except those listed in Separate, all categories including hidden categories, all tags including hidden tags, and all securities including hidden securities.
