Should my mobile app and desktop work together? (edited)

After I synced Quicken to my Ipad I cannot get it to open on my PC

    No error message was displayed. However, I did solve the problem by rebooting my computer. Things seem to be working fine now.

    Do you mean that after you synched your data from Quicken desktop to the Quicken Cloud and accessed that data on your iPad that your Quicken desktop file will no longer open?

    Are you getting any kind of error or is Quicken just crashing?
