If you haven't rebooted Windows since you installed the latest software update, please do so now and then try Quicken again.

Do you have Controlled Folder Access enabled in Windows Defender?

Following you road map in settings I do not have anything about ransomware or controlled folders. Quicken worked for me until I installed updates. I've made no changes to any settings, security or otherwise. I should never install Quicken updates.0
