On my income & expense report one of my accounts does not show income items as posted

I have ried to do everything, recheck category,tags and spelling with no success

What report are you using? There are some problems with the old Category Summary report; if that's what you're using, stop. Use Create Transaction Report or Create Summary Report to create a new report, and see if that solves your problem.
