Quicken keeps adding deleted categories - any way to prevent this? (Q Mac)

The auto-categorization is much improved with the most recent update; however, Quicken keeps auto-categorizing transactions using categories that I've deleted. For example, a T&E reimbursement continues to be categorized as "personal income". I have deleted that category a number of times, and it keeps coming back! There are several more examples - interest on a checking/bank account, for example. I've used Quicken for over 20 years, and this used to be named "Int. Inc." Now the new category is "Interest Earned". I deleted the new name, simply for the sake of consistency, but it keeps coming back. . .
Using Quicken Deluxe 2019, version 5.12.3
Thanks in advance for any advice.

Helo bethwr,
Sorry, you haven't received a response.
If you go to Window > Categories are these categories that have been deleted listed here?
Do you use the mobile or web app?
To see if the mobile/sync is active go to Quicken > Preferences> Mobile, Web & Alerts
If you don't actively use the mobile app, and the sync is green "on" I would try turning sync off to see if this corrects the issue.
Let us know how it goes!~~~***~~~5
