I changed investment managers. How do I transfer all the stocks etc from one to the other?

I recently moved all my investments from one company to the other as an "in kind" transfer. Do I have to use remove/add shares to get them moved in Quicken, or is there an easier way? There are a lot of stocks etc to do manually. Thanks

If you moved EVERYTHING from the 1st company to the 2nd ... I'd simply disconnect the account(s) from download, remove the old firms name from the account, exit Q, re-start Q and re-enable the account(s) with the new company. You can, if you'd like, enter a $0 transaction into the account(s) to reflect the switch. It is, after all, a single account to you ... so I'd treat it as such.
