Has there been a solution to the "Budget disappears" problem

I have completely lost my budget twice in the last week running QW 2017 Premier and up to date on all patches. File repair/validate did not fix. The first time I lost it I made a completely new budget even though I had a recent backup. This morning it was gone again. I searched the community and find other complaints, but I don't see a solution.

Have you tried to restore your Quicken data file from a Manual or Automatic Backup taken prior to the problem first occurring, if necessary going back to older backups until you find a file that does not exhibit these symptoms.

Sure. And then I have to re-enter the work I have done since the backup. Not acceptable. I see this is not a new problem and Quicken has not fixed it. See https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7849387/budget-has-disappeared-this-quicken-file-contains-no-budgetable-amounts-or-categories0

If you choose not to restore, you will have no access to budgeting as whatever corrupted your data file only a restore will resolve. You should only need to go back a few weeks and with transaction downloads, should not take that much effort to be up to date.Restore possibilities are a way of life if you continue to use Quicken.0
