Changing monthly future recurring transfers that have different amounts - how?

I do not have Quicken yet Member
Each month I move different amounts of money around to different accounts to cover bills, allowance etc. On my bank statement, all transfers show as Customer Transfer Dr., but in Quicken I want to have it automatically be changed to reflect what the transfer is for. ex. - the bank statement says "Customer Transfer Dr. $20" (which is an allowance for my daughter) and in Quicken I want it to say "transfer for daughters allowance" but when I change it and click the box for all future transactions, it wants to change all Customer Transfer Dr. (regardless of amount) to say "transfer for daughters allowance". Is there a way to change all future transactions based on payee AND amount and not just payee alone?
I hope this makes sense!

In a word, no. The renaming rules are for Payee names. There is no provision to create different Payee names based on a transaction's dollar amount. It may be that the memorized transaction functionality the developers are working on now will give you a way to accomplish what you want, but we'll have to wait to see how it works whenever it's released.
One way to perhaps accomplish what you want would be to create scheduled transactions for these recurring transfers. the Payee name could be the same, but the Memo/Notes field could contain the differentiation you want. Each month, you'd mark each scheduled transaction as Paid, and then drag each over the matching downloaded transaction from your bank; Quicken will merge the transactions, retaining your Memo/Note that explains what each transfer was for.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19935
