There are two lists of investment categories, one with bullets and one without. How do I choose?

When categorizing investment income two lists of investmemt categories are shown. One has dots in front of the category and the other does not. How do you choose how to enter transactions? Or are the categories with dots what was transferred from previous Quicken versions and now now used?

There's no way to easily see what the modern Quicken's default categories are, but if you want to, you can go to File > New and create a file from scratch, with a dummy checking account, just to see what the categories in a default new Quicken file look like. (I actually find it useful to keep such a "dummy" or "testing" Quicken data file around, if I want to try out some feature without messing with my live data.)
