The last three times Quicken has updated software automatically it's royally-screwed-up my registers, deleting 6 months of 2019 the next to last time, duplicating transactions this time. How do I turn-off automatic software updates?-1

To prevent Quicken from applying an update without your approval, I suggest you set Windows UAC settings appropriately (choose default or always notify).0
