How to disable splits in reports?

There is an option to disable splits in report formats, but it doesn't seem to work. How doyou disable splits in reports?

Sorry, Quicken does not have a report exactly like this.
The closest would be a Banking Transaction report. In this report, the Description field has the Payee for banking accounts. If you customize the report and select the Show Splits option, it has a separate line for each split category and amount. It does not have a separate column for the transaction total.QWin Premier subscription5

When I pull up an expense report by payee it produced the report. However there's only one total amount column. Is there a way to show split and another column for grand total of splits for each payee. Comes in handy when searching a particular reciept. As it is I have to double click each to go to the check resister to see grand total. A report with two columns representing splits and one representing total of the splits would be nice. How do I get that?0
