File Conversion and Backup (Windows)
Quicken will not open in current file

For example: when I close out Quicken, current file is dated: 10/11/2019 and when I open it next time the file that is displayed is 8/21/2019. This just started happening where as before it would open to the current file. The 8/21 file is the one being updated off line and not the 10/11 file also.

Please provide the year and version of Quicken being used: select
Help > About Quicken
Quicken maintains a list of the most recently accessed data files visible on the
File
pull-down menu. If the name of the file is too long, Quicken may have difficulty accessing the correct data file. I suggest using short names (8.3), For example: QData.QDF
