What you have described, happened to me. To fix, all I did was to restore my last Manual Backup. Works fine.
I do not and I repeat, I do not use Automatic Backups at all. I do Manual Backups only and only when after I make changes to the Data File and before I close Quicken. I wait to see Backup Successful, before closing Quicken down.
