Note the asterisk. It is an indicator you likely have placeholder transactions to resolve that may be impacting the calculation. If you haven't already, you may want to review: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7267839/quicken-faq-managing-placeholder-entries-in-quicken-for-windows

Placeholders impact the entire transaction ... NOT just the balance column.

Sherlock's advice still holds, and they only way that you're going to resolve this is by attending to the Placeholder and removing it.
