Underlined letters in menus are invoked using the ALT key. So for

Ctrl + U
is the shortcut to open the
Portfolio
view. Quicken does not have an
Update
tab. If you're attempting to initiate a
One Step Update
, the shortcut is
Ctrl + 1
. If you're attempting to initiate and
Update Now
from a register, the shortcut is
Ctrl + Alt + U
.

Thanks Sherlock.
If I go into investing/portfolio and then open an individual security there is an update tab with an underlined U, how do I get this tab to open using a keystroke? It does not open with Ctrl+U.
