Reports (Mac)
Credit Card transactions are not posting to Category Summary
Marika Young
This became a problem in just the last few months. There are transactions on the credit card accounts that belong in the one category I checked. When I create a customized Category Summary It pulls only the checking account transactions and not the credit card transactions. I have the report setting to include checking and credit, only one category and cannot see any credit card transactions from 2 different cards in Quicken 2019 Mac.
Any ideas?

If you are using the Category Summary report, don't. There have been several reported problems with this report, and I don't know if yours is among them. But the Category Summary report is one of the old reports inherited from the predecessor program, and is on its way to being phased out. The new reports engine the developers have built over the past couple of years is better in many ways.
So use the Create Transaction Report, set Rows=Category, continue to Customize, select the account(s) and/or category(ies) you want, and generate a new report. You can customize which columns are visible, re-arrange the order or width of columns, and change the sort column if you wish to.
