Why is the result of running a simple report so amateur?

I have been using Quicken for more years than I can remember. I transitioned at the end-of-life of Microsoft Money, so I suppose around 2010. So why, after all this time do I have to adjust every column in a report individually, every time I run it? This is just to view it, not even to juggle around to print it.
