Investment Report Issue

My Quicken problem is: When I write a check on an investment account Quicken records it as a loss of value and not a cash widthdraw. Is there a solution to fix this?

Please describe what you mean by "loss of value."
When you write a check the balance in the account will go down. If the account's cash is held in a money market fund, the FI will sell shares in the fund to cover the cash withdrawn.
If you look at the Investment Performance Report, the check amount will be shown as a Return, which does not hurt the reported performance.QWin Premier subscription0
