How to get transactions to appear in my budget?

I have the right categories selected, but everything is still showing up as zero. Is there something I'm missing?

Mixed currencies? Are the transx or categories dealing with sub categories?5

Even if you set Quicken to Canada (you can do this in Preferences, and also set the sidebar currency there as well), new accounts will default to the country your Mac is set up for. It sounds like your Mac might be setup for the US.
I don't deal with currency conversions, but I would get everything over to CDN$ if that is what you use (including each account that might have been setup for US$

Are the categories not showing up in your budget? Or are the categories there, but not showing your actual spending? More information would help in troubleshooting.
Are your budget amounts zero? Try changing a few budget values to $1 and see if they show up.Quicken Mac Subscription • Quicken user since 19930 -
Thanks for your responses. John, I changed the currency to USD for the budget and now my expenses are showing up.
However, this highlight another issue...I am using the Canadian version, but for some reason, it's converting everything to USD. When I go to Window > Currency, it lists the currency pair as CAD/USD, but I'm not able to remove it. So now my budget has expenses, but everything is in USD, which makes it harder to keep on top of things...0 -
