Deleting Account Can't Close Account Details Window

Every time I try to delete and account and confirm with "yes" in the deletion menu the Account Details Window stays up but they "Ok" or "Cancel" buttons are grayed out and I cannot close the window. The only way to resolve it is to force close quicken and start it up again. How do I resolve this?

What versions of Quicken and which release?
Is anything in the Account Details window "clickable" or is the window completely dead?
In that window is the Account shown as being closed ("This account is already closed.")
When you re-start Quicken is the Account actually closed and no longer available to you?
This could be caused by underlying data corruption I suppose. I'd first try "File" > "File Operations" > "Copy..." and then using the copy of your file do "File" > "File Operations" > "Validate and Repair..."
If that doesn't works I'd next contact
