Updating Security Details - Ticker Symbols

When I update a security detail (i.e., ticker symbol) in one account, it automatically updates that ticker symbol in every account. How do I just have it update in that one account?

The ticker symbol applies to all holdings of that security. If you actually hold two different securities, you should have two securities in your security list.

This also applies to two different share classes of the same mutual fund,
