Restoring an Archive created user a different version

I archived some of my older Quicken data circa 2007 using Quicken Home and Business because I had a business at the time. The business didn't survive, so at some point in the last five years or so, I downgraded my Quicken license to Premier instead. Now I have need of the archived data and Quicken is prompting me to upgrade my current license to Home & Business. Is there a way around this for temporary file access? I just need to read the old files, I certainly have no interest in reverting to them. Thank you.

You should not need Home and Business just to read the old data files. You will however need to convert archived data files using an intermediate version before you will be able to open them with Quicken 2020. If you haven't already, I suggest you review: https://www.quicken.com/support/how-and-when-use-intermediate-version-convert-older-versions-quicken5
