How to make Quicken autofill the most recent transaction and not the first info that I ever entered?

I have used Quicken for 20 years. I upgraded to the subscription version for Win10.
The older versions would auto-fill the info from my previous entry. Now it auto-fills the info from the first time that I EVER used a particular payee.
How can I get it to show the most recent like it used to?

If you haven't already, I suggest you review the preference settings: select Edit > Preferences...
If the issue persists, I suggest you examine the Memorized Payee List (press Ctrl + T) and insure the payee is not locked.
If the issue still persists, I suggest you rebuild the Memorized Payee List (press Shift and select Tools > Memorized Payee List).
Always save a backup before making any significant changes to your data file (press Ctrl + B).5

Thanks for the help. I didn't know about locked payees. I'll check that out.0
