How do I transfer to my new computer?
I want to transfer my Quicken subscription to my new computer. What do I need to do?

You don't need to remove the program from your old computer, unless you want to. The Subscription Program allows unlimited installations, as long as you use the same Quicken User ID and password with each Quicken Data File.

Point your browser (from your new computer) to quicken.com and sign on to your account. You will have the option to download Quicken to your new PC.

After the install, you will need to supply the program with your Quicken.com Id and that makes that installation linked to your subscription.

Then you would need to copy your data file. It ends in .qdf. It should be in your Documents then in a Quicken folder. You can copy it to a flash drive. First copy it to the new computer hard drive before you try to open it.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
