Sound Problem

I don't get the cash register sound when I enter a transaction using Quicken 2020, and the "Turn on Quicken sounds" box is checked. Has anyone ever figured out how to fix this problem?

Check to make sure that Windows knows which sounds are to be played in the Windows Control Panel Sounds routine.
-splasher using Q since 1996 - Subscription - Win10
-also older versions as needed for testing
