How can I bulk change a security's ticker in one of my accounts?

I maintain several brokerage investment accounts in Quicken. In one account, my money market transactions were assigned to an incorrect ticker. Is there a way to bulk change all of my money market transactions to use a different ticker (security). Basically, I would like to avoid moving transactions out of one ticker and into another ticker and showing all those added transactions in my account.

You are mixing your terminology - tickers are not securities are not accounts.  A ticker is simply an attribute of a security.  Transactions deal with securities.  Transactions are recorded within an account.  As such (in general) an account may hold several securities and securities are bought and sold.

Now translating --- In one account, your transactions were recorded as using the wrong security.  Is there a way to bulk change all those transactions to use a different security?

The answer is to that question is No.  In the general setup, I would sort the transaction list by security so that all the errant transactions were grouped together, edit the security name for the first applicable transaction to the correct security name, copy that (correct) security name entry, save the transaction (it will get re-sorted to another place in the list), move to the next transaction, paste over the bad security name with the correct security name, repeat as required.

That is the sentence that makes no sense since transactions aren't recorded in a ticker.  They are recorded in an account.

Now the catch here is that Quicken does offer a control identified as Single Mutual Fund accounts.  For those accounts, the account can only hold one security and thus all transactions are for that one security.  

Are you dealing with a Single Mutual Fund account?  Fixing that problem might require a different strategy.
