a way to get year to date charges for a particular credit card account (not running total)

- Open the credit card register
- Press Ctrl + Shift + N
- Select More reports > Banking Summary Report
- Select Year to date from the Date range: pull-down menu

Do you want it subtotaled by categories? You can run a category report and unselect all accounts and only select the credit card account. And you can select Year to Date.
I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
