Reports (Windows)
How can I look back at a specific date in the past, and look at what my account balances were
mark oberferst
I am doing this so I can run a New Worth report comparing today to a year ago.
Also, what is the easiest way to run and customize a Net Worth report.

Assuming you are running a recent version of QWin Deluxe or higher, go to Reports > Net Worth and Balances. Open the Net Worth report. Set the date range to Last 12 months and the Interval to Year. You can select to view a table, a bar graph, or both. Note the graph does not show the starting partial interval, With the above settings it shows 12/31 and today.
To further customize the report, select a different date range or interval and/or click on the gear at the top right of the report to select accounts, categories, securities, etc.

Reports > Net Worth and Balances > Net Worth
Then in the report, change the interval to Year and select Custom Date and enter last year's date. This will give you last year, the end of last year and this year...but close enough. The info will be there.
