Enter Quicken ID Password: Is this required?

I do not use mobile or cloud services. I do all work on my laptop. Is there some way to turn OFF the requirement to Enter Quicken ID Password??

No, Quicken needs your Quicken ID/password to "call home" and verify your subscription.

Hi @DDub ,

The Quicken User ID snd its password is used by the Quicken to verify your Membership and if you allow your Membership / Subscription to expire, it will still need to verify your status, if you are using Deluxe or Higher..

How often do you get prompted for Quicken ID and password?
Once you have successfully responded, the ID and password should be stored within Quicken and you should only rarely get prompted.
The last time I got prompted was after I installed a software update a few weeks ago.
