I have an account that has a money market fund and other mutual fund investments. When I download transactions, it enters the dividends from the money market as cash rather than as dividend reinvestment in the money market; forcing me to enter transactions to buy shares of the money market fund. Is there a way to fix that?

@RED16:  Probably not.  It is likely that your financial institution is sending the transactions that way.  You would need to get them to change.

What is the financial institution? TD Ameritrade does this and I just keep the money market funds as cash in Quicken.

Or if you want to show the cash as being in the money market fund you can edit the Div transactions to make them Reinvests.
