tax receipts scanning & organizing

Question

I used to use Neat for tax receipt organizing, but I've gotten fed up with it. Is Quicken Premier 2020 usable to organize receipts for tax time? Is there a better personal tax/accounting software for mac? I have an epson scanner

one final thought, I don't want to rely on a hardware manufacturers' software tool for this.  Epson, Fujitsu, Neat and others have their attempt at this but offer little support and are really not interested in the software end.  We need a software company like Quicken to see the value of this and pick up the slack where these HW companies fall short.

"This obv is not a specific Quicken topic" - ...and that is the Problem with the Quicken File Attachment function.  This is absolutely a Quicken topic.  How wonderful would it be if Quicken SW had the ability to connect to a TWAIN Driver compliant scanner, scan a receipt, use OCR and a receipt template database to extract the data to a quicken entry.  Then attach the receipt scan to the entry.  Then the user simply goes to the category splits to allocate the spending to the proper categories.  Then when the Credit card download comes it it is matched and the user accepts.

It is about time to implement such a function in Quicken.  I pay an annual fee for quicken (as do the rest of us) and have not seen any significant new functionality that helps me in my day to day use of the tool.  This function is at the top of my list.  Since there is reference to Mac in this thread, this feature should not case if it is PC, Mac or Web.
