export investing portfolio view data
bill21
is there any way to export the columns in investing portfolio view to csv or excel-compatible format file? I'm particularly interested in the "dividend yield", "shares", and "quote/price" columns (to be able to estimate annual dividend/interest income). I have quicken deluxe for windows. thank you.

Yes! While viewing the Portfolio view you want to export, press CTRL P on your keyboard, select print to file, and choose either tab-delimited or 123 compatible (CSV). This will create a text or CSV file that you can import into Excel.

Actually the selection you want is the confusingly named PRN (123 compatible). Then if you give the file a CSV extension you can open the it directly in Excel, without going through the text file import wizard.
