Hi ]@aa_jogger ,
See this FAQ: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7307115/add-your-quicken-information-to-your-posts-plus-how-you-are-connected-to-the-internet
What is your present information? Plus how many months are remaining on your present Subscription? And where did you buy the New Subscription from?

Hi @aa_jogger ,
Yes of all, you should be on Windows 10 Build 18363.535. Go into Settings then Update and Security. Click to install the New Feature Build.
Check your User Name in User Accounts. Make sure that you are signed in. Sometimes when you start up the operating system, Windows can't Sign you in signs you into the operating system with a Temporary Account, from which you need to Sign Out from and Sign In again.
Also the User Account that you are using, must be an Administrator Account to Activate Quicken.
This is what the Window looks like:
As for having to change your User Name of one without Spaces is not necessary, if you are signed into your Microsoft Account when signing into Windows.
My User Account contains a Space and it loads fine.

Still crashes after updating to Windows 10 Build 18363.535 and confirming that I was logged in to my account which is an "Administrator". Will try creating a new "Admin account" per the other suggestion.0

Hi @aa_jogger ,
If you are still crashing, then make sure that you perform a Manual Backup then follow this procedure: https://community.quicken.com/discussion/7844658/installing-reinstalling-windows-quicken-subscription-editions

Looks like using the new "Admin account" will work (ie Quicken no longer crashes when I choose "Enter Activation code") but before I enter my new code, I need to know if it will extend my current subscription or start a new subscription effective today.0

Make sure that you check when your current Subscription ends, before entering the Activation Code and check it afterwards, that it adds 1 Year and Two Months to the Ending Subscription Date.
When done, it should read 4/2/2021.
