has anyone found problems with qkn files changing from w7 to w10

    Nope.  As long as you're on a supported Win product, the conversion is a non-event for Q.

    Nope.  In fact, before I changed completely to Win10, I would drag files back and forth between Win7 & Win10.
    -splasher  using Q since 1996 -  Subscription  -  Win10
    -also older versions as needed for testing
