Budgeting for a year

Why can't I enter a yearly budget amount rather than month by month? I don't need to budget monthly!

When you set up the budget, I suggest you use the annual view, allow rollovers, and set the annual budgeted amount in the first month, and zero for the remaining months.  It's not as difficult as it seems: set the first month to 0, select gear icon and apply..., then enter the correct amount.

    OK, thanks. Makes sense.

BTW, it makes better sense to just have an "annual budget" (NOT "annual view") option for those who don't budget monthly!

In the Annual view of the Budget, if you happen to have set up a monthly budget for January and want to apply it (copy it forward) to the remaining months of the year, simply click the column header "January  v". The popup will allow you to "Copy Jan budgets to all months in 2020"

Yes, I've used the copy forward tool. Thanks.
