deleting accounts and start over

I need to delete years previous to 2019 how do i do that. I had set up all new files in 2019 but when I loaded quicken on my new lap top I lost the new files and got the old ones which were corrupted

To start over, select File > New Quicken File...
To start with only transactions after a specific date, select File > File Operations > Copy...

Plus is Quicken still working on your old Laptop? Do you Manually perform Manual Backups?
