Quicken continues to lose transactions

Ever since upgrading to quicken 2020 it has randomly lost transactions, requiring considerable work to locate the transactions lost then re-creating them. Fortunately I have regular backups, but the search it to find the backup that had not been harmed, then recreating the transaction.

Hello @rmartel
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Community to post your issue, although I apologize that you haven't received a response.
I have a few questions to help me understand what could be happening.
Where is your Quicken data file stored? Are you using a cloud or network drive?
Do you sync and use the mobile or web app to view your file?
Lastly, have you run validation and repair? If not, please see the steps below.

Let me know how it goes!

Hello Tyka
I upgraded to Quicken 2020 from Quicken 2017 in October 2019, I'm not sure whether it's in OneDrive or on my Laptop
I don't use my mobile or web app to view file
I have validated my recently reconstructed data from past backups
I have had 4 chats with quicken, as I have reconstructed data 4 times and problem persist
Last reconstruction has been validated with no more lost data, it's been 12 hours0 -
