Upgrade to R23.18 and now dates in some accounts are in random order

I recently upgraded quicken premier to R23.18, running on Windows 10. When I opened my file this morning, the dates in one credit card account were in seemingly random order. I clicked on "reset" and it does not help, clicking on "custom" seems to help but not completely. Would appreciate any suggestions on how to "fix" this. Thanks. Patricia

I suggest you open the register and select the Date column header (you want the small triangle to right of Date to point up).

You must have clicked on one of the column headings.  You can sort by most of the columns just by clicking the column heading.  If you click it again it will reverse the sort.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.
