Account overview balance in Investing Section for stock does not match Account Listing balance
dgreer
Any thoughts on why the value for a stock in account overview screen does not match Account list value on left hand side of screen? The stock is valued correctly in the account overview screen but is much lower in value in account list.
This only occurs for one out of 3 stocks I have.
Thanks,
Dan

One way this might happen is if you have a future-dated transaction for the stock. The account overview defaults to today's value but the Accounts bar can be set to show the ending value, after the last transaction. To change this, click on the gear at the top right of the Accounts bar and select Show current balance.

I had a similar issue after upgrading from Quicken Premier 2017 to 2020.
I called Quicken support and they had me do the following:
1. Backup your file.
2. File > File Operations > Validate and Repair.
a. Validate Files.
b. Rebuild Investing Lots
