Transferring

We have Quicken 15. We just bought the updated Quicken 19. When I am trying to backup 15 it says unable to open file. How do I back up what I have on 15 and transfer it to the 19 on a new computer?

    How are you trying to do that backup? And what's the EXACT wording of the error message that you're getting?  Any error codes associated with it?
