Reports (Windows)
Advanced tab - transfers
Dale Grice
Hi all,
I am trying to include transfers in a report. I selected "include all" in the advanced > transfers box. But they do not show up. In the register they are "TXFR" type under the check # column. Any clue?
Thanks

Hi
@Dale Grice
Thank you for confirming which report is being run. The Tax Summary report should show any transfers that are associated with a tax-related items and categories.
May I ask, the transfer transactions that are missing from the report, are they associated with any tax related accounts/categories? Such as a transfer to/from a 401K account?
Or are these transfers between banking accounts, such as a checking to savings account or checking to credit card account transfer?
If the missing transfers are between banking accounts, no tax line items are assigned to the transfer category and so those transactions would not appear in a tax related report, such as the tax summary.
More information on missing report information and tax line items is also available
here
.
Please let us know what type of transfer transaction these are and if they are tax-related or transfers between banking accounts.
Thank you,
Sarah

In the Category is it a transfer to another account? The account name should be in Square Brackets like [Checking]
Dale Grice
Transfers "[Checking]" do not show up in the category list.
volvogirl
No. Not there. On your transaction in the register. And make sure all the Accounts are selected for the report.

Each transaction in the register is a transfer [checking] in the category field. All accounts are selected in the report. Transfers do not show up in the report.

Hello
@Dale Grice
Thank you for the response and verify that the transactions in the register are categorized as transfers.
If you are still experiencing this trouble, may I ask which report you are running?
Let me know!
