My investment portfolio has errors in COSTS - how can i edit it.

Costs are determined when the security was purchased. If you sell any of the security, then your cost goes down. BUT, if you've purchased multiple lots of the security (with different cost per share) AND you've sold any (but not all) of that security your cost basis will differ from that of your broker UNLESS you gave the broker specific instructions as to what Lots to sell from.Unless instructed otherwise, your broker probably sold on the basis of FIFO. If you didn't record the sale of the same lots in Q, then your Cost Basis won't be the same.

Select the transaction to edit...then select 'Edit' from options (right-bottom). Make correction ...then select 'Enter' or press enter key.
