Remove small red marking in accounts Q 1999 for Mac

New to Q 1999 for Mac. In accounts on left side there is a small red pencil looking mark. How does one remove and not have that show up?

Your suggestion was right on. I used your "menu View>Columns>Status" work great on all 8 of my accounts.
