Exporting reports to EXCEL spreadsheets
jeromebshapiro
I have read the discussion regarding CSV files and bank account importing. When trying to export a report to EXCEL Quicken still suggests tab deliminated values. In Office 365 EXCEL would like to use CSV files. The workaround is to enable the legacy text import wizard. Does Quicken have any plans to add CSV output for reports? Going forward one does not know how long the wizard will be available. Is anyone using 123 any more?

In current versions of Quicken, if you follow the path for printng a report (not clicking on the Export button) there is an "Export to" selection and one of the options is PRN (123 Compatible). Despite the name, this is actually a comma delimited file. If you give the file a CSV extension, you should be able to open the file directly in Excel.
For the actual reports (not register printing or Investing > Portfolio views) if you click on the Export button there is an XLSX option which produces an Excel file directly. You may like the format of that file better.
