Does anyone know when Quicken will actually spend some of the money we all pay them to actually update and improve some of the long-standing horrifically clunky and poorly designed/built reports and report interface? It has not changed in 20 years and is truly awful. I would like to know, so please enlighten me.

I think you're wrong about that "20 years" part. If I'm remembering correctly at some point some of the reports were changed some years ago to put "Totals" at the top of the list of dollars being summed, a change that I truly hated. So now some reports show totals at the bottom of the list of dollar amounts being summed and some show totals at the top of the dollar amounts, which is confusing as heck.
