IRA taxable distributions - current year vs last year
Mike Sabot
Each month I have a mandatory automatic distribution done on a IRA. When I import thes transactions from Fidelity, I am always asked if the tax paid is for last year. If I say yes by accident, the amount will never show up in my tax reporting since its the wrong year. Is there any way to make the default show up with the current year?

What version of Quicken are you running? I don't see that popup in QWin 2020 if I enter the transaction manually.
You might be able to avoid the popup by creating a Reminder for the transfer and accepting it or having it auto-entered before the transaction is downloaded.
If you pick the wrong tax year, you can always delete and re-enter the transaction.
